Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information OilTrack collects, why, and the choices you have. OilTrack is provided by Northstar Commerce Technologies LLC.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address, shop name, phone number and settings (logo, colors, language, units).
• Information you enter about your customers: names, phone numbers, vehicles, license plates, mileage, services, notes and photos. You decide what to enter; you act as the controller of this data and we process it on your behalf to provide the service.
• Usage information: technical data needed to run and protect the service, such as daily usage counts and error logs.
• Payment information: payments are handled by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers.

How we use it

To provide OilTrack (storing records, showing the customer portal through links and QR codes, sending the messages you choose to send), to process payments, to give support, to keep the service secure and to improve it. We do not sell your data and we do not use your customers' data for our own marketing.

Customer portal

Vehicles you register can be viewed by your customers through a private link or QR code that shows that vehicle's service history and photos. Anyone with the link or QR code can view that vehicle's record, so share it only with the vehicle owner.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run OilTrack: Google Firebase (database, authentication and file storage), Netlify (hosting) and Stripe (payments, acting as merchant of record for subscriptions). They process data only as needed to provide their services and may store it in the United States, Brazil or other countries.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can edit or delete records at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data by writing to rodrigo@oiltrack.store.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to its processing. Write to us and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

Access to your data requires your account credentials, and our security rules restrict each shop to its own records. No system is perfectly secure; tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
